Nerd Print Shop

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 24, 2026

This policy explains what information the Nerd Print Shop game ("the game", "we") handles, why, and the choices you have. The game is published by Maple Drift Studios, Ontario, Canada. Contact: mapledrift.support@gmail.com.

In short: you don't create an account with us, and we don't collect your name, email, location or contacts. Your shop is saved on your device. The game shows optional, non-personalised ads (only when you choose to watch one) and uses Apple's and Google's own services for purchases, game achievements, backups and crash reports.

1. Information stored on your device

Your saved shop, settings (language, sound, vibration, text size), mini-game records and achievements are stored only on your device. We never receive them.

2. Backups and sync

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

The game offers rewarded ads: short ads you can choose to watch for an in-game bonus. Ads are never shown without you asking. We ask AdMob for non-personalised ads, which are not based on your interests or past activity, and the game does not ask to track you across other apps.

Even for non-personalised ads, Google AdMob processes some information to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, prevent fraud and measure them, such as your device's advertising and app identifiers, IP address (used for approximate location, e.g. country), device and operating-system details, and how you interact with the ad. Google acts as an independent controller of this information; see how Google uses information in ads.

4. Purchases

The optional "Shop Owner" upgrade is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment; we never receive your payment details. We only receive confirmation that the purchase is valid, so it can be unlocked and restored.

5. Game Center and Google Play Games

If you're signed in to Game Center (Apple) or Google Play Games, the game sends your achievements and leaderboard scores to that service. Your player name and scores may be visible to other players there, according to your Game Center or Play Games settings. This is handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies.

6. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the game crashes, it sends a crash report to Google's Firebase Crashlytics so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains what went wrong in the code, the device model, operating-system version, app version, free memory and disk space, the date and time, and a random installation identifier created by Crashlytics. It does not contain your name, contacts, location, advertising identifier or anything you type. We use these reports only to fix bugs, never for ads, and Google keeps them for 90 days. Google processes them for us under the Crashlytics terms and Firebase privacy information.

7. What we don't do

8. Legal bases

Where privacy laws require a legal basis (such as Brazil's LGPD or the UK GDPR): running the game and keeping your progress rely on providing the service you asked for; crash reports rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game working; ads rely on our legitimate interest in funding a free game, or on your consent where that is required; purchases rely on the contract with you.

9. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are requested as non-personalised for all players. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example Brazil, the United States including California, Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile or Australia), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, to object to or limit its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data-protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD). Because we hold no personal information about you on our side, most requests are handled by:

We'll update this page when the game changes how it handles information, and change the date above.
