How to play

Cross out two equal numbers, or two that add up to 10. Clear the whole page to win.

• Pairs must touch: side by side, above or below, diagonally, or from the end of one row to the start of the next.
• Crossed-out numbers don’t block, so pairs can see across gaps. A fully crossed-out row disappears.
• Padlocks open once the numbers on both sides of them in their row are crossed out.
• The ★ Joker pairs with any number it can reach.
• The Eraser pairs with any number, then wipes that number’s other copies in its row.

Stuck? A hint shows a pair that still leads to a clear page. Solve without hints, undos or restarts for 3 stars.

Daily page and streaks

There’s one new page each day, the same for everyone. Solve it on its day to grow your streak. Older pages in the calendar are for practice. You can turn the daily reminder on or off in Settings.

Purchases

Chapter 1, the daily page and Endless mode are free. If something you bought is missing, open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases, using the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Progress and iCloud

If you’re signed in to iCloud, your stars, streak and scores sync to your other devices automatically. Make sure iCloud is on for Pencil Pairs in your iPhone’s Settings, then open the game and give it a minute.

Ads

Ads only play when you choose to watch one, for extra hints, undos or refills. If none is available, check your connection and try again soon. In regions that ask for ad consent, you can change your choice in Settings → Privacy choices. See the privacy policy for details.
