Privacy policy

Ricochet Bricks is made by Rodrigo Quaresma ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you play. The short version: we don't collect any personal data. The only third party that may is Google, and only when you choose to watch an ad.

Information we collect

None. The game has no accounts and no analytics. We don't have servers that receive information from the app.

Game progress

Your levels, stars, scores, coins, power-ups and settings are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account so they sync between your devices. They are never sent to us.

Optional ads

Ads are never shown unless you tap a button to watch one (for example, to rescue a lost game or to get free coins). These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To load and show ads, Google may collect information such as your device's IP address, a device or advertising identifier, and how you interact with the ad, as described in Google's advertising policies and Google's privacy policy.

The ads are never personalized: the app asks Google for non-personalized ads only and never asks to track you across other companies' apps and websites. In regions where it's required (such as the European Economic Area and the UK), the app asks for your consent, and you can change it under Settings → Ad privacy choices in the game.

Daily reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder, the reminders are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only checks with Apple which items your Apple Account owns, so it can unlock them and restore them on a new device.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, the app sends your scores to Game Center leaderboards. Game Center is run by Apple: your Game Center nickname and scores may be visible to other players, as set in your Game Center settings. We don't receive your Apple Account details. You can sign out of Game Center in the Settings app at any time; the game works the same without it.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children. Optional ads are provided by Google as described above.

Apple's privacy policy

Purchases, Game Center and iCloud are covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
