Thin Walls
Privacy policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
Thin Walls is made by Rodrigo Quaresma ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you play. The short version: we don't collect any personal data, and the app doesn't track you. The only third party that may collect data is Google, and only when you choose to watch an ad.
Information we collect
None. The game has no accounts and no analytics. We don't have servers that receive information from the app.
Game progress
Your solved buildings, times, streaks and settings are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account so they sync between your devices. They are never sent to us. You can erase them at any time with Settings → Reset progress in the game, which clears this device and your iCloud copy.
Optional ads
Thin Walls never shows an ad unless you tap a button to watch one, for example to get an extra hint letter or to open a past daily puzzle. Players with Thin Walls Premium never see ads at all.
These videos are provided by Google AdMob. The app asks Google for non-personalized, family-friendly ads only, and it never asks to use your device's advertising identifier, so you won't see a tracking prompt. To load and show an ad, measure it and prevent fraud, Google may still collect information such as your device's IP address (which gives an approximate location), an identifier for the app on your device, and how you interact with the ad, as described in how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.
In regions where it's required (such as the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before any ad is loaded. You can change your choice under Settings → Ad privacy choices in the game.
Reminders
If you turn on the daily or streak reminder, the notifications are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Purchases
Thin Walls Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether your Apple Account owns Premium, so it can unlock it and restore it on a new device.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, the app sends your solve times to Game Center leaderboards and records your achievements. Game Center is run by Apple: your Game Center nickname, times and achievements may be visible to other players, as set in your Game Center settings. We don't receive your Apple Account details. The game works the same without Game Center.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children. Optional ads are provided by Google as described above and are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
Apple's privacy policy
Purchases, Game Center, iCloud and notifications are covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
